Solar Power For Home

solar energy is a form of electromagnetic wave. It travels in wave lengths that doesn’t require a medium to travel through (space).

I would like to add it is a form of radiation. Radiation travels from warm bodies to cold bodies.

for one solar energy is the radiant light and heat set off by the sun so in other words it is simply the suns rays or solar radiation so it travels as follows:
the solar rays bounce of the upper atmosphere with only 30% passing through that 30% that passes through goes on to be absorbed the earths ocean and land to heat it
